Teaming up with Advent, Providence needed a set of 3 hype videos for their new basketball facility. Sporting a giant, extra-widescreen display in the recruiting lounge, the videos had to pop.
Since the Friars play in the city's Dunkin Donuts Arena – which could be configured for a hockey game, a circus, or a concert on any given day – the basketball program needed a way to show the experience of a home game for recruits.
The challenge with any highlights-based athletics video is to keep it from feeling like just another clip on SportsCenter. It was a blast to find a way to weave an arc through all the threes, blocks, and dunks.
